Pachakutek made his debut in a strong 8f maiden at Newmarket on Friday 17th October.

As expected, he needed the experience of a run as he fell out of the stalls and settled in last position. Half way out he started to pick up although still running green when jinxing left after the dip. He continued to run on strongly though, gaining ground all of the time, finally finising 5th and only 4 lengths off the winner. He is sure to improve from this run and is an exciting prospect for next year.
