Audemar broke his maiden on the second attempt at Great Leighs on Thursday 16th October.

With his owners all cheering him on, having flown in from Manchester and Bremen for the race, the smart Exceed and Exel colt sat handily behind the leaders in a slow pace race but had too much class for the rest when pushed for home in the last furlong.

Jamie Spencer only needed to give him a tap to wake him up and then pushed him along with hands and heels to take the line 1 1/4 lengths clear. Well done Owen, Claudio and Roque.
