Tiradito ran unplaced and finished 5th of 7 in the 5 furlong SportingBet.com Maiden Stakes at Salisbury on Thursday. He broke well from the stalls, found himself in front and was a little keen in the early stages. He led at the 2 furlong pole but when Ted asked for his effort, Tiradito didn't find much and although he was hampered just over 1 furlong out, it didn't affect his final placing. Ted commented that he didn't like the firm ground and that a switch to the AW might suit, together with a possible step up to 6 furlongs. The plan is to wait and see how he comes out of the race before deciding where to go next.
