Taper Jean Girl finally gets off the mark with a win at Southwell. Having been very keen early on in previous races, Taper Jean this time broke well and was allowed to take up the running in this 7 furlong race for 2 year olds on teh fibresand. Andrea settled her in the lead from 4 furlongs out and she was travelling nicely coming off the bend.She was pushed on from a furlong out, but was never in danger and won eventually won by 1 1/2 lengths. A genuine and big-hearted filyl that has finally got her reward.
