Raymi Coya ran very creditably to finish 3rd on her US debut in an Allowance race for fillies and mares over 1m 1f at Hollywood Park. Although she broke slowly and raced off the pace, the filly moved up nicely and was really the only horse to make up ground. Trainer Ben Cecil thought it was a good run and the experience will do her good for next time, suggesting a mile will suit her better. Raymi has come out of her race well and the plan is to run her back in about three weeks time. Everyone is pleased with her progress and looking forward to her next outing.
