A very pleasing run by MAZAMORRA saw her finish 2nd on her seasonal debut and on only her 2nd time on the racecourse. She raced prominently throughout for jockey Jerry O Dwyer and only when she came under pressure a furlong and a half out did she hang slightly left, but she ran on gamely without being able to catch the winner and finished 1 1/2 lengths 2nd.
