Kiyari scored in impressive style in a Claimer at Wolverhampton on Thursday evening over an extended mile, to make Global Equine Group's first runner of 2009 a winner.

She was settled nicely off the pace at the rear of the small field by Hayley Turner. Coming wide round the final turn Kiyari was asked for her effort entering the straight and there were four of them in a line. She responded well and stayed on strongly to win comfortably by 3/4 length, doing all her best work at the end.

Trainer Marco Botti was naturally delighted and is pleased that Kiyari is progressing in the right direction.
