| Electric Feel returned to racing today in fine style, finishing 2nd in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes at the Newmarket Rowley Mile Course. Having been injured during her 3rd place in the Empress Stakes, Electric Feel showed that she is made of sterner stuff than most, to return 90+ days later, and only 4 weeks after re-entering trainer Marco Botti's yard, to beat off all but the favourite in the 7 furlong fillies race. Martin Dwyer piloted her to a perfect race, setlling her towards the rear and switching her off early on, but with her travelling well coming out of the dip, he made his way through the pack to be the only horse that was able to give chase to the eventual winner, Tabassum. With this her first race back, and not yet fully fit, we feel sure there is more to come from this big-hearted filly. |
