| Audemar returned to Kempton tonight and returned to his winning ways in this 1 mile handicap. Always a consistent performer, but unlucky with the draw and traffic problems in his last 2 races, tonight Audemar got to show his ability to it full extent. Drawn 7 of 12, Audemar was a little slow to break, but Jamie Spencer, quickly got him settled just off the leaders in 4th place. Moving well round the bend, Audemar made his break just after the gap and no-one was able to respond to his turn of foot. GOing 4 lengths clear in the final furlong, Jamie had the comfort to be able to back-off and coast home with plenty to spare in his 3 length win.The owners were delighted and are all now looking forward to an exciting and successful winter all-weather campaign. |
